Aiden Sallows
Hi, my name is Aiden Sallows and I am running for the Honors Student Council Senator Position! I’m currently a second-year Computer Science major at Saddleback College, and I'm also a Math and Computer Science tutor at the LRC.
I’ve been a member of the Honors Program since day 1, and through my time as both a student and an educator, I’ve come to value and appreciate the benefits the Honors Program provides for students like me. Having already received so much from this program myself, I want to give back to my community and provide an opportunity for students to have their voices heard.
By voting for me as the Honors Student Council Senator, I promise to pursue better benefits for Honors Students, more transparency for prospective Honors Students, and the expansion of a wider variety of Honors classes, so that no matter what your major is, you can become a part of the Honors Program. I've gotten so much out of this program, and I'm here to make sure that you do too!
Alanna Vescovi
Hello! My name is Alanna Vescovi, and I would love to serve as your Senator for the Honors Student Council next year.
The Honors Program is truly invaluable in its dedication to the student body; the support offered by staff and students alike, the challenging project-based coursework, and other opportunities designed to facilitate the transfer process all contribute heavily to student success. Through this position, I would advocate for equity, engagement, and student success among our Honors community.
