As a student veteran with a seven year career in the U.S. Marine Corps, I have dedicated my life to service, leadership, and excellence. My experiences as an an infantry squad leader and operations and training chief have instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility, adaptability, and commitment to teamwork. These qualities, combined with my current role as the events planning coordinator for the Saddleback College Veterans Club, have prepared me to serve as a student trustee.

 

My military service taught me the importance of representing and advocating for those I serve. Whether leading Marines in high stress situations or planning events to support student veterans, I have consistently prioritized the needs of my team and community. As student trustee, I will ensure that the voices of all students no matter their background have are heard. I understand the unique challenges faced by student veterans and traditional students, and I am committed to bridging gaps and creating opportunities for collaboration.

 

With my leadership experience and passion for service, I am ready to advocate for policies and initiatives that benefit the entire Saddleback community.
