Hello! My name is Veronica Becerra, and I am a Marine Biology major with a deep passion for environmental sustainability.

 

As the current President of the Environmental Awareness Club (EAC), and a former Vice President, I have dedicated my time to raising awareness and working with organizations to improve how we care for our environment. I was a key leader in our EAC's Water Quality Project, where we tested and presented a report on the campus's water quality.

 

If elected as your Campus Sustainability Senator, I will use this opportunity to expand my work, collaborate with students and faculty, and ensure sustainability issues are addressed effectively. I’m committed to promoting sustainability initiatives like thrift drives and environmental events that engage the campus community.

 

If elected, I hope to build a more sustainable and environmentally-conscious campus, and I would be excited for the opportunity to lead that change!
