Yasmin Marouf
Hello Bobcats! My name is Yasmin Marouf and I'm a freshman here at Saddleback College, majoring in Political Science. As a first-generation American, I’ve witnessed the challenges of building a life in a new country, which fuels my passion to advocate for all backgrounds and ensure everyone feels supported.

Through canvassing for Congressional candidates, I’ve engaged with diverse communities, promoting inclusivity. I'm preparing for an educational trip to China, connecting with students from different cultures and learning from their experiences. Upon my return, I plan to work with the Director of the International Student Program to expand access to opportunities like this for all students. I’m also involved in the Design Spring event for Saddleback’s future Multicultural Center, helping create a space where students can celebrate their diversities. When elected, I will continue to shape its programming and design.

As your Senator for Diversity, Inclusion, and International Students, I will advocate for representation, cross-cultural experiences, and student-led initiatives that foster true connections. Together, we can make Saddleback a place where every student feels inspired!
